Christ the Mediator
In Job 9.33 man looked for a mediator: “Neither is there any dayman betwixt us, that may lay his hand upon us both.”
In Ezekiel 22.30 God looked for a mediator: “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none”.
In 1 Timothy 2.5,6 the Mediator is provided: “For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a Ransom for all, to be testified in due time”.
