The Branch

The Branch

The Gospels presents the Lord Jesus Christ in four contrasting ways.

Matthew – King

Mark – Servant

Luke – Man

John – God.

There is the same presentation with references to Him as the Branch which is a Messianic title.

Jeremiah 23.5 ,”Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will raise unto David a Righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgement and justice in the earth”.

Zechariah 3.8, “Behold, I will bring forth My Servant the Branch”.

Zechariah 6.12,13, “Behold the man Whose name is the Branch”.

Isaiah 4.2, “In that day shall the Branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious”.
